The Srinivasan College of Arts and Scence - MCA programme was established in the year 2007 which has approved by AICTE (fulfilling all the Norms), New Delhi and affiliated to Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. The Department of Computer Applications strives to provide an intellectual environment that fosters the search for new knowledge in a highly dynamic computing world through its quality education, focused research and innovative approaches in practice. With highly skilled faculty members with rich experience behind them, we impart value based education besides giving real exposure to IT Industries. Our students used to bag sizeable number of University Ranks (MCA) every academic year. They very well shine and stand apart in the Intercollegiate Level Forums by winning many laurels. Two Computer Laboratories are fully equipped with round the clock Internet facility and the Library facilities with large volume of Book, Journals, Magazines and E-Book to our students for enhancing their reading skills and enriching their knowledge. The HRD cell trains our students in all the skills required to match the Industrial expectations and more than 50 students were placed every year in various MNC Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Perot system, Mphasis, Team Lease Services, First Source, IDBI, Equitas Bank, Mswipe, Intelnet Global, Focus Edumatics, Eccentric and etc., in India and some of them are working in abroad. We continue to work hard to give world class education to our students.

A candidate who is a graduate in Mathematics or Physics or Chemistry or Statistics or Computer Science or Information Technology or Industrial Electronics or Applied Science (with Mathematics as an allied subject or Major Subject) or B.Com. or B.B.A. / AMIE of this University or from a recognized University or an examination accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto.
